We are seeking exceptional Preschool teachers to join our dynamic Preschool team, starting in January 2025. These are full time positions. We would be delighted to hear from teachers who have proven ability, experience, outstanding pastoral skills and demonstrate a real joy for teaching preschool children. Applicants should be supportive of our special character and extra-curricular programmes and have a passion for teaching in a co-educational environment. Prior knowledge of IB PYP is desirable but is not essential as generous provision is provided for professional development, especially around the IB PYP.

Spanish Specialist – Fixed term, 0.6 FTE
We are seeking an experienced and exceptional Spanish teacher (0.6 position) to join our staff team from the beginning of Term 1, 2025. We would be delighted to hear from applicants who have the proven ability and experience to organise, lead and teach our outstanding school-wide Spanish programme. Spanish is taught from Year 1 through to the Year 8 level. Applicants should have strong pastoral care skills, a passion for collaboration and teaching in a co-educational environment. You will also be supportive of our special character and being involved in our extra-curricular programmes. Prior knowledge of IB PYP is not required or essential as PD will be provided. The successful applicant would be expected to contribute to our wider school life in the classroom and extra-curricular activities.

Short Term Relief Teachers
St Mark’s is looking to build its relief teacher register and would love to hear from certificated teachers who would be available to teach on a casual basis within the School.

To apply for a position as a relief teacher, you must be fully qualified as a teacher and hold a current New Zealand practicing certificate, issued by the Teaching Council NZ. You must also have the right to work in New Zealand as a New Zealand citizen or resident, or be the holder of a suitable work visa.
